That said, it seems like Banksy has a legal team that could legitimately rival that of Disney. I was really impressed by the legal red tape his team put together for the Bristol exhibit.

I'm pretty sure they have IP rights on the mouse-ear hats. And maybe even the 'Disneyland' font, which they can likely file suit on if they're selling shirts with the font. Dismaland poster someone put up earlier is official - they also balloons (I AM AN IMBECILE) and catalogues for £5 each, plus free maps and you can hook a duck to win a fish finger in a bag  There are also tees and hoodies for sale Bought me a James Joyce print for £150  Good luck to all, it's well bloody worth it!!!

If you set up a theme park and have all of your employees wearing signature Mickey Mouse ears, and then charge for entry, then you can likely get sued since you are arguably deriving part of your profit from Disney IP. Same can likely apply to a t-shirt using Disney font and an image of the Magic Kingdom. That said, Banksy's legal team is pretty damn good as well so I wouldn't worry. They probably found the necessary fair use loopholes. |

Due to unprecedented demand “the UK’s most disappointing new visitor attraction”
is currently unable to process online ticket sales.
This Saturday and Sunday August 22nd and 23rd tickets will only be available on the door
(of the portacabin on the grass opposite the site) from 9am. After reaching its 2000 capacity entry
will be on a one in/one out basis. Last entry at 9pm. This may result in some queueing and we
apologise for any inconvenience. Online bookings will be taken from Tuesday 25th August.

Reminds me of Nathan fielder and his dumb Starbucks prank.
He 'became' a parody artist to get away with it. People thought it was banksy at the time. Now banksy is doing the same thing with Disneyland.

If I got paid for the amount of time I was on the forum than I would give myself a raise.
At least I convinced myself to buy $300 worth of tequila because it has pretty images on it.
I really need to get my priorities straight like flying to London and than hopping on a 3 hour train
to see a street artist goof on Disney even though I don't have tickets yet and I am supposed to be in London for work only.

Now the dust has settled at least for now I thought I'd say hi. Hi! I've been following this thread since the beginning but didn't want to clog it up as someone pointed out earlier. Pretty gutted about the tickets but I did just find this that I thought might interest you. Not sure if it's credible but after a day of chasing ghost tickets I'm not sure what to believe anymore.
