What some people won't do to make money.
I have really enjoyed reading this thread from the very beginning but I am disappointed to see so much emphasis on self gain, maybe not so much on here but certainly on a certain website which I have watched go from a trickle on opening day to a selling frenzy.
I would love to have gone down to the exhibition and been able to bring home some items for my own collection, but I certainly would not have brought them straight home and banged them up for sale, surely those that are doing so have gone to the exhibition for clearly different reasons.
I understand that the art world in order to work needs people to buy and sell,
but this "looting mentality" scares me a little.
People listing item's like the one in the link above, which is clearly a fake and openly exploiting people is not good thing, I did actually mention these drawing's in a previous post but only to say that the ones with the R.M labels on the back were quite intriguing.
Out of Interest was the last Banksy exhibition (Vs Bristol Museum) littered with so many greedy people?

Absolutely f**king amazing! Top tips. If you have a ticket decide to go before the allotted slot or a bit after because qeue takes a while of not. I queued about 10am and was near the front, so wasn't crazily busy for the first hour inside.If you don't have a ticket I got the feeling your in for a long wait as the sign went up about half 10 saying no more tickets available for today with already about 300 non ticket people.
I agree with everyone saying you need to actually experience the whole venue to really appreciate it and the staff make it the dismal venue or strives to be. I got my fish finger by cheating (obviously) but I found the bling shooting stall impossible even when trying to aim for the non can items. Every single piece of art made me think, enjoy and want to go back. Luckily I have a ticket for tomorrow night as I'm looking forward to the night sky adding to the dismal affect. T shirts on sale are £20 and hoodies £40. I got the green t shirt with the castle and wording on. Be warned they are small sizes so look before you buy. As always the exit is through the gift shop.
Now to hang the fish finger up in my bedroom and look through my photos of an amazing day!

I for one think if anyone deserves the opportunity to experience it, via a fundraiser of sorts, it should be Roy!!! He is by all accounts a true gentleman on here every time words of reason are needed & a right fine artist too. That being said, many on this forum(myself in the states included) can't afford that luxury. Which brings up my point that sadly knowing this forum, any fundraiser would bring out the negative in people if they didn't have the chance to get something in return. I think it's great what you're trying to do, but look at the "likes" posts about picking up extra merchandise gets & then compare it to sending someone there. I believe we can all agree that of all the people that regularly post, Roy knows no enemies. Sadly it'd just be opening a can of worms for the not so positive people on here. Great gesture though & I'm sure the dear Mr. Roy appreciates it greatly! I know I do.

I was expecting it to be good, but you can never be sure when so much hype. However it surpassed all expectations. Every tent, every piece is just brilliant.
Will choose some pics tomorrow to post and have lots of bits for overseas peeps!
