Hell if I know anymore. I was thinking since it were from the estate and a "direct from the source" type of purchase it would be a bit more reasonable. I seen it go both ways at times like this. Many real collectors are usually turned off by a postmortem release. I guess we'll know soon enough. |

The sheer fact that they can pimp the licensing out to every global consumer product that applies for it for over a decade, then to follow that up with a five figure print release baffles the mind. In some ways I actually admire the estate for the transparency. At least now you know going in their stance on brand integrity and what to expect going forward. The fact that that anyone could draw any parallel between his original living works and those reproduced by his estates marketing arm is a bit disheartening...that said I'll never give up my SAMO phone case. |

Following the Kaws release debacle Pace have continued with their unethical sales approach ....how can they justify charging $10k more for the same work on the same day ?.
I wanted and was offered both works,I passed as I do not agree with their ridiculous pricing policy.
