I know people can be untidy in their posts stender, posting things in the wrong place etc, but I do tend to think that we should try to be easy going about such things. No point in being too prescriptive in my opinion. I certainly don't think it's worth considering leaving over. I hope you stick around.

I love these prints but at their size, definitely have to have a wall big enough to let them 'breathe'!

Lazarides Editions are proud to announce the forthcoming release of Friend #5, the brand new limited edition fine art print from the Miaz Brothers.
Working in tandem using a fragile haze of aerosol paint to create ghost-like portraiture, the Italian siblings offer a profound new take on conventional portrait painting. For this latest print edition โ created in-house at Lazarides Editions studio โ the Italian siblings have chosen an original image from their 'Friends' series of paintings, encapsulating a monochromatic tonal palette which pays homage to traditional black and white photography.
However, in contrast to photographic portraits, the Miaz Brothers render an unsharpened image, a mere suggestion of the sitter's form, applying the same blurred technique prevalent in their other series' of works to create dark extrapolations of Renaissance portrait paintings.
In their own words, they use this kind of a style to represent "the transitory nature of existenceโฆ the fact that we are composed of infinite particles in continuous evolution", presenting the viewer with an exercise in memory and subjective understanding, not to react instinctively, but to provoke some deeper associations.
Measuring a frame-friendly 70 cm x 50 cm, Friend #5 by the Miaz Brothers is presented as a limited edition of 100 signed and numbered copies, each priced ยฃ250, and will be available to purchase online at a random time on Wednesday 11th May exclusively from Lazarides Editions.
