I think you can understand the skill from the prints. You need to see them in the flesh to really appreciate them though - photos just donโt do them justice. I remember unrolling Friend#5 and thinking Iโd been had as up close it looked like just a grey rectangle - I had to hold it up and stand 10 feet from a mirror to see it.
I think this will be lovely in the flesh - the colours are fantastic in my opinion. These modern characters work so much better than the historic characters. And itโs a smaller edition than before.
The only thing stopping me is the size - itโs too big for my walls.
