Love it more than I thought I would, so definitely replacing something else on the wall once I get it framed. Personally don't have any real problems with the border - easy to frame out with a mat if you are super picky, but you will loose the deckled edge. Will go well with my Conor Harrington - similar 'old masters' vibe. Nice over the top gold leaf frame called for I think....

I'd had one held over before release, which may or may not have been picked up on until after the sales concluded. I don't have an issue with an AP - more the image for me, but obviously there are at least a couple (based on this thread alone) out there.....

I really like the image regardless; the deckled edge far from the image itself isn't breaking this for me, and neither will the fact that it's an AP.

I think APs can seem more interesting when you think they're unique/rarer, but in this case with a small edition run I actually wanted to see the #s. I think I need to visit some museums for inspiration. |
