Edition of 100 = ยฃ900,000 generation for a blurry print of Mona Lisa. It's as overdone as Harland Miller's massive penguins books Your maths is off, but other than that I am in complete agreement.

I haven't received any offers on it but the piece I have by the Miaz Brothers is most definitely the one that gets the most attention when I have people over. It never fails, they always want to know who did it and spend a considerable amount of time observing it. I can't say I completely disagree with the 'take off' comment. I guess what the original post was referring to is that they haven't had a 'meteoric rise' (in prominence and subsequently, in value) which some people see as a gauge of success. The way you interpret that mostly has to do with what your goal is in collecting art. |
