I can't wait to see them on your eBay page along with the Paco pomet, chevrier, kunstrasen, dface and every other print released within the last year. I really value your input. Parasite.

Miaz Brothers ๐ฎ๐น Portrait Painters โข Roberto & Renato Miaz, by chrisell66 on Nov 5, 2015 8:15:45 GMT 1, Could someone explain what I'm missing?
I don't get it all. Its just blurred. First time I saw them I thought copyright protection was just hiding the art - but nope they actually do look like that
Yes - radical - yes new take on portraits - blah blah - still just looks like someone smeared Vaseline over a camera lens to me.
I can see its probably technically clever- just struggle to understand what everyone else sees - or is this one of those deeper meaning things -

The subtitle mount and narrow border should keep the contemporary feel for the piece... I think it could work nicely

Completely agree, I don't 'get these' either. They actually remind me of a Viz Mag Top Tip - "Glasses, contact lens wearers, put a poster of a renaissance portrait on your wall and look at it without your eyewear on and you've got a bargain Miaz".
But each to their own and no doubt they are technically very impressive and well produced.

They don't look so huge in that picture. Look a more manageable size. Though that might just be because they are further away.

Though that might just be because they are further away. Yes, that's true. In the picture they're not more than about 2 cm on a computer screen. But that may vary. If you look at the pic on a phone they're even more manageable. Maybe 5 mm?

Miaz Brothers ๐ฎ๐น Portrait Painters โข Roberto & Renato Miaz, by chrisell66 on Nov 5, 2015 11:32:22 GMT 1, The antimatter series would like to be a new contemporary vision which might present some transcendent answers for our present existence - a type of artwork as self-fulfilling prophecy in and of itself. Perhaps more literally, it suggests a desire for tomorrow's art to achieve that vision which remains ceaselessly ahead of the curve, as the very nature of "contemporary art" suggests an art that looks to thefuture, identifying and successfully embodying that which is yet to come - that which today remains indefinable. This painting research began when we decided to look for an alternative pictorial language, which had a visual synthesis of philosophical insights.we have focused on the concepts of appearance-disappearance on the finite-infinite, genesis-death.in this game of fluctuating perception where depending on your point of view, definitions are interchanging in an infinite loop ...the ultimate goal is to make a perpetual motion of the image between two opposite poles in a elastic contrast which calls to the viewer's perception in a kind of visual-mental gymnastics of mnemonic activity, recognition and symbolic association, in a space open to subjective interpretation.the viewer meet the artist half way to continue a creative process of completing the work.for us it is the true scientific-realistic picture of the man, non-definable, in continuous evolution , formed by infinite particles that interact and mutate with the reality as complex and infinite that surrounds him. a "sub-atomic" essence without boundary lines, a flowing being , evolving. a representation of the essence of being, elusive of any definition. www.artdiversions.com/dematerialized-from-past-to-present/ That'll be something deeper then.
Still just looks blurry to me

At the end of the day put theirs on the wall next to mine and joe public wouldn't know the difference and I wouldn't want to have to explain it either.

As mentioned on here the one thing that could have made it better is if they had signed over the bottom of the image and not the white border which seems to be the case in the photos.
