I really like them, but didn’t love them enough to buy one. If I did want to buy one, I would have only gone tonight if I had one reserved to pick up (and I expect this is what others might have done).
If anyone finds out more about the art talk that Nick is doing on Saturday, let me know as I might pop to the exhibition for that. 👟👟👟

Arrive at 5:30pm to find it’s been open since 4 and some prints already sold out!!! Well that’s a wasted journey. I believe the private view was 1600-1800 and GP from 1800-2100hrs.
Anyone want to buy some framed Nick Smith prints?

I have 2 framed prints on my wall but how am I supposed to support the artist when I cant buy a print as they are all sold out by the time the "plebs" are allowed in! Anyone want to buy some framed Nick Smith prints? |

But with five days left until the show is over, i'm starting to think that may not be a possibility. But what an achievement for Nick Smith.

Ohhhh...Yeah, I think you are right. I totally discounted the box sets. Damn! I can totally see 35 getting scooped up for each shoe right away at the show.

Then another queue to get downstairs to buy - 1h 20m. Print I wanted (Air Max) was available but on a 4/6 week wait time whilst the rest of the 75 edition are printed “wasn’t sure of demand”. APs are box framed in Perspex at £1000. Rhodes have always done really nice shows for Nick Smith. But I found this not very pleasing.

Just all felt very disorganised. They ran out of invoice notebooks. Weren’t doing matching editions, unless they were. And then you queue for a long time and can’t take away a print. Just not a smooth, fun experience .
The queue? Basically didn’t have a chance to look properly at the stuff hung up because the queue to go downstairs was getting longer and longer. Then when downstairs, another queue. Just all felt very disorganised. They ran out of invoice notebooks. Weren’t doing matching editions, unless they were. And then you queue for a long time and can’t take away a print. Just not a smooth, fun experience .
