A mate of mine got the set of two and yeah the shipping is Β£90 for UK. Β£90! Surely it canβt cost Rhodes ninety quid?? They charged Β£45 twice as two separate items. I will claim a refund after the order is dispatched in case it is two separate parcels as not unusual for them being packed up in advance. |

I guess even if they taped them together the weight in one parcel would be double and thatβs why they justify the Β£90 charge, but still seems very expensive. Must be pretty heavy though 2 boards? Letβs just hope that they are actually sent flat this time unlike the last psycholourgy π

I put the two individual ones in my basket but on the payment page they then showed as sold out, but must have gone in a minute or two. Pretty good sales considering there are 132 of them, but they are nice colourful prints. Oh well, maybe they will show on eBay in a week or so as per usual π€£

Nick created a version of my logo that I am going to use on limited edition record sleeves. Would this be something you guys would be interested in and what/how would you like to see these? This is not going to be a huge run nor will they be (relatively) expensive (as they will be primarily a record release) and this will dictate the price (Β£30ish for a single 12" more for a double/triple 12" release).
For some time I have been trying to get a record sleeve manufacturer to add the spot varnish and maybe even embossing the chips (as I would want it to be framed myself). The setup costs are huge for these "features" and I'm yet to be convinced on how good they will look compared to having them printed by a specialist art printer.
Any suggestions/input? There will be no more than 8 in the set but as an uber NS fan, I'm happy for input from other fans as to how to do this justice for other NS fans.

If you want a spot uv varnish to stand out even more, use a soft touch laminate on the card. This gives the cover a luxury velvet touch and then makes the spot varnish shine more against a matt surface. Not as expensive as it sounds, but a great finish. |
