A friend of mine is thinking of parting with his Dancer piece by Martin Whatson.
It is the 2015 release from an edition of 175 and is a 20 colour screenprint, size = 80cm x 80cm
Currently framed and he would prefer to meet in London to hand over, rather than ship if at all possible.

I have always genuinely wondered how much hand finishing there was on these as all three variants looked identical (as below). Note the black and white versions were editions of 20 and the grey version was an edition of 175. If someone could please let me know the difference, I would appreciate it. |

The dancers and most of his hf Ed are a few splashes and maybe a few lines and an a or x

Now tiger and panda and a few others are heavily hf but no the dancer isn't heavily hf at all if we are being honest

I would say covid is when his prices really started to rise but if you pay attention to Norway collectors they are flipping his Ed for big money also especially their originals that they have an easier market to get
