Have a feeling these will go fairly fast: his editions have been running at around 250 and this will be only 50 more per print over the available time period. Plus, despite the fact they are giclee, (which many collectors don't favour), as opposed to Hush's usual intricate screen prints, the images are indeed lovely and the price point reasonable.

Even though its a Giclee, the quality and finish will be second to none, and at that price point I do think its a no brainer if you like the images!

To be fair, the price isn't horrible. agree that the price is good but I am wondering if I should hold out until he does another release that isn't an archival pigment print. also noticed that most of the 1xRun/Juxtapose print releases at SCOPE in Miami are doing ink jet releases too.
Personally, I'd wait for a screen print. It's impossible to match the vibrancy of a Pantone ink with a CMYK process. The colors look a bit muddy in a ink jet if you put them side by side. You also lose the multiple layers of thick ink that you get with a screen print.
On the other hand, these cost about half what his screen prints cost. But I would rather have one screen print than two ink jets. His screen prints are pretty close to originals in quality.

I don't think it's spot varnish on these - I think it's a screen printed varnish over the whole of the image like Conor Harrington prints. Still should be nice and bring out the colours. I brought the Solace one and will hope for the best |
