His set is also on ebay at 22,500 OBO under the same name, saw it yesterday.
I don't see this playing out the way he expects it. These recent releases leave NO room for large immediate returns for flippers, so it will be nice to see him fail on his face financially with this one.

I guess that YSKIK that has been sitting on ebay for 8800 since release is just waiting for that high end client then. After his paypal fees, shipping, and ebay fees it will be around cost from pace at it's last tier, if he can even get that...
Paddle8 has an agreement with Pace to wait 6 months after any release to auction items off. Guess we will know what the high end clientele thinks in roughly 6 months.

If it doesn't i have lots of books, and I could chuck one in

You dont flip a Kaws with an introductory price like that on Ebay just like you don't try to profit from vintage Chateneuf du Pape at a yard sale. You need to chose your market wisely. It'll probably be sold to a gallery who has already lined up someone willing to pay more. And FYI, Artnet don't seem to care for such agreements and are auctioning off one of the Basquiat prints. I think the estimate was $60k-$80k; I received the email earlier this week.
