Swedish Oscars, Best Costume Design, and the Award goes to.., by Coach on Jan 8, 2016 21:01:01 GMT 1, That's brilliant news. Congrats Nordic. Where are you by the way? Haven't seen you post for a little while. Thank you kindest M. It feels very surreal and a bit strange, we did this film without any financial support, we as a film team worked increadably hard to get the film together, without any sponsors support or money, we did this because we belived in this film. I worked day and night alone with no assistent...I so much wanted things to be as I wanted, it was tough, really, to create costume out of basically nothing, exept my visions of how I wanted it to be...and now this recognition...phew, wow, I am do happy that people like my efforts.
It really is wonderful news Nordic! I am so chuffed for you. Hopefully you can take some pics of the ceremony. You are a winner! Is there a link where we can see the film or clips of it. I know I won't understand it. But I don't care. I want to see the costumes that you created!

Swedish Oscars, Best Costume Design, and the Award goes to.., by Coach on Jan 8, 2016 22:55:43 GMT 1, Did it work, phew it's not easy on a phone, with broke screen, ha. Seriously I am so happy that people might fibally get to hear about this film, as we did it without support or financial support, it was a bit tricky to have it distributed even here in Sweden, very unsure about abroad.. hopefully this nomination can help to find it's way to be seen. It's a film about an famale artist and her struggles with her independancy finding her way as an artist friend girlfriend and her longing to explore herself. It is a truly poetic and an artistic film, my friend Ziggy from the street art scene, now working as an artist, did an amazing custome made painting on the back of an jacket, there is so many amazing details in this film, hope it find it's way to be seen, I would truly love that, this film means a great lot for me.
It did. It looks very cool. Especially the last shot with the girl sat in the middle of what looks like a cling-film spiders web. Bravo Nordic!!

Swedish Oscars, Best Costume Design, and the Award goes to.., by Deleted on Jan 8, 2016 23:15:07 GMT 1, The preview looks great. Visually stunning and made for little or no money is an achievement in itself.
I can't see the language being a problem as the visuals tell the story.
Definately an art house film which will be around for a long time and viewed in other countries too.
I agree about the sets and the big spider web plastic plus the art looks interesting.

Swedish Oscars, Best Costume Design, and the Award goes to.., by Deleted on Jan 9, 2016 16:03:12 GMT 1, Where is the full film viewable? I am so sorry, the full film isn't viewable as far as I know at the moment. I send my own link to some few handful to watch, for bragging about my excellent work, after the Swedish Premier, in September. Hopefully the film gets distributors, or what they now are called? I'll watch the film in September.
Where will the film be shown?
Who knows I might even watch it in a cinema screening in Sweden. Do they sell popcorn in Sweden or is it available on pizza in cinemas?
I do miss the Swedish coffee which was great.
Let people watch the film when it comes out as if people post it on here before the preview it's not fair on you and the screening is the big day.
I hope you win and at worst you will come third
although all three of you who have been nominated are three winners and this also proves your artistic creative value to the world and lets hope people on this forum support your art and enable you to get the tools you need to move forward.

Swedish Oscars, Best Costume Design, and the Award goes to.., by Deleted on Jan 9, 2016 16:59:03 GMT 1, I think there are groups in London who do screenings of art house and independant films. Chelsea art club springs to mind when I lived there.
chelseaartsclub.com/home-public/welcome/
also Artists Film club
www.ica.org.uk/whats-on/seasons/artists-film-club
Nothing to lose by contacting Mr Lazarides himself about the film. One never knows but he does seem quite well connected and some art of yours and the film could make an interesting expo for any adventurous art gallery in London.

I want it to be shown in London soon, like really soon, so I can ask the director to pay for my ticket there, so I can go and see the Lazarides expo in February Two flies in one smash.
Does it have subtitles Nordic?

www.everymancinema.com/faqs/private-hire-faqs/
"When is the screen available for a hire?
For a detailed quote and availability, some basic information will be required (date, duration of hire and any technical requirements necessary). We generally hire out our venues for 2.5 hours, please note that all slots require approval from our programming team before we can confirm availability. We offer morning, afternoon and evening slots with costs varying between off peak (09:30-13:00) and peak (13:00 – close) timings. I am a short - film maker, would I be able to show my film at an Everyman venue?
Everyman Cinemas can accommodate short - film makers’ private screenings in any of our regular hire slots. If you would like us to pass on your film’s description to our programming team please email us."
Everyman is in Belsize park ? near Camden too so close to Bambi art
It might be possible here if they are not too expensive and money can be raised.
Lots more cinemas here.
