There is demand for his work and he is one of the most giving artists out there. All his shows and releases sell out pretty consistently. If he wants to put out more work so that he can continue to do bigger and better things/projects and keep his crew and gallery running, more power to him. Where were you when he was a poor/struggling artist? He's earned all his success.

Also, "no evolution" in RETNA's style is completely inaccurate. These pieces below are just some examples: they are quite varied and show both evolution and exploration. Some folks can hate him for his past/personal reasons, but there's no denying that his work is powerful. In my view, it doesn't even look like the same artist put out all these pieces.

Fairey and RETNA have universal appeal. Harland Miller with his riff on Penguin books has much more limited appeal in my view. He has not and will not make as large an impact as Fairey and RETNA, whether you talk about the world of art, street art, fashion, politics, entertainment, etc.
