Apparently they're releasing a gold version of this print...info on edition fifty's site. Usually I'm partial to gold for most things in life, but I'm really loving the original silver. Curious to see what the gold looks like when they release more pics!

Think they should of just stuck with the Silver

I feel the same and the name is Edition 50 not 100 so seems strange. That being said i'll no doubt try for one as i'm a sucker for prints with shiny gold.

I've seen a bit of Fanakapan's street work, and enjoyed it mainly as an appreciation of the process involved in making spray paint look like silver baloons. Very much like that Bik Ismo chrome dog in Miami a while back. But I'm going to be the lone dissenter here - I don't really see the appeal of a print edition, and think this basically looks like a random word in a novelty font. Sorry! There's always one, etc.

Take a recent release like the Cleon Peterson Judgement which gave you a choice of black and gold or white and black. I agree it seems more like a cash grab on edition50/100 to all of a sudden have massive interest through emails once the silver sold out and now they have a gold one ready to go lol ok then edition50. I am for more profit for the artist but at least be up front about what your business is doing is all.

To be fair he did say on his instagram that more prints were coming this year, i doubt anyone thought next month though

This was a bit of a last minute decision, and we only got a proof of the gold version the morning of the print release and was only going to go ahead if it worked with the image.. It does need a slight few tweaks, which is why it says final print photos coming in the next week.. It's still an edition of 50, it's not unusual to release 2 or more colour ways of a low run print. The main reason we decided to do a gold edition is due to the amount of emails coming in daily about the print and we wanted people to have the chance to own this awesome piece of work. Of course if anyone is unhappy with the print they are welcome to a refund.

Thanks for the explanation, not needed but appreciated nonetheless! Would just of been nice to know that there would be two colour versions being released so buyers could make a choice of colour. Cant please everyone either, like so many print releases you snooze you lose. Sure these will look great, but still think Silver will look the best.
