Attractive-looking print.
I'm very fond of the border merging into / becoming one side of the alcove. It's a whimsical and fresh idea.
This is also an interesting, visually pleasing stylistic shift for the artist.
With the window scene, pensive and slightly mysterious woman, vase with flower or foliage, and cut-out aesthetic, it looks like Parra has taken some inspiration from Matisse. The image reminds me of different works, incuding Zulma (below left):

Mine has just arrived in Seattle and totally agree with you, it must have been rolled to about 1.5-2 inches in diameter! Regardless, it looks great.

Any Gorilla gripping rolls in the print? Did it flatten out OK? Thanks No gorilla grip rolls in mine. I'm letting it relax for a few days before I try to flatten it out. I've tried to flatten a print out too early before and ending up killing it, (it was a cheap print, so I wasn't too upset about it and was able to replace it easily). |

Yeah my limited art knowledge prevents me from immediately relating which artist this piece reminds me of, and why I liked it that much. The name Matisse sounds just about right.

The name Matisse sounds just about right. I think its a beautiful image and enhanced for me by the fact that I still know that when she turns round she will have that large pointy trademark nose. I guess if you were new to Parra that subtle play would be lost on you. |

Although I wasn't able to see the show when it travelled to MoMA, Henri Matisse: The Cut-Outs at Tate Modern was one of two highlights for me in 2014 (along with Martin Creed: What's the point of it? at Hayward Gallery).

The receipt listed a pack, but alas there was none in the tube.

In no rush but will happily open it and bottle the smell in a Kilner Jar and you can have it for free if that is your bag. Bizarre as sort of thing the smack heads do when they come into our shops sniffing the trainers.

Parra would not reprint more, too much integrity and doesnt need the money

Listen, It was just an honest question. I was by no means "suggesting" anything and don't meant to imply that. I do see it as odd to give the exact same story of "one" available print and not being able to confirm a certain customers address to multiple people? At least 3 now that Ibcan confirm relieved the email. That's the only part that makes it sound strange to me. I have always had great dealings with Parra and have had no issue with them ever. They have some of the best customer service around. Haven't heard back on my reply yet but we will see.
