Yep I don't disagree with you. Eine's prints are always great in the flesh and I have two hanging in my living room. Big fan of his work but his work isn't even flip worthy and prices flop so low that if you need to sell his stuff you tend to be lucky to get your cost back out of it. Definitely a buyers market for Eine.
On a side note I know someone who went and queued up for these at 7am. Bought them to sell and start investing in art. Hilarious! Plus the guy is a total cock anyway so I'm just enjoying this even more!!!!

We were lucky to get number 1 of an Emin edition but the lazy flippers keep using the image of number 1 on their E-Bay listings, so we keep getting accused of flipping our prized piece. Grrrr!

Received mine (Shutter) and sent it to the framer. The photos online do not do it justice. Spectacular! I'm amazed that they are still available on jealous. Bizarre, thought this would go quickly.

I would have jumped on these at the 150 mark, 250 gets a little steep for the repetitiveness of most of his releases. |

I agree with you. I have eine's work in my living room. Two of his pieces, both in expensive frames! His stuff is great to put on the wall and enjoy. Just not an investment, that's all! My comments are for people that have bought these for the sole purpose to put them on eBay for £999.99. The fact they're still available at source for cost is just hilarious. I'm all for buying art at release and watching the value grow, that's all part of the game - but people who buy to just flip immediately to exploit others who missed out on the drop getting their just desserts is sooooo sweet to see. This is even better as I know a guy who queued at 7am to get these purely for that reason who is a total dick! Amazing hahaha!
