The UK's EU Referendum - 23rd June 2016., by offthehookbooks on Jun 28, 2016 21:32:15 GMT 1, People are kidding themselves anyway if they think voting will make any difference. any result still has to be approved by the house of commons and they would 100% block leaving anyway just giving the monkeys a feeling that they are having some say.
Ha you idiot

The UK's EU Referendum - 23rd June 2016., by Reader on Jun 28, 2016 22:24:04 GMT 1, Got to say I agree, the back story is a few Eton public schoolboys vying to be top dog of the conservative party and demagogue Farrage taking advantage. Once that's settled, Article 50 won't be invoked. Business leaders won't allow it. Politicians won't allow it, the ruling elite won't allow it. No one really wants out at all. Public voting out? Democracy ? it'll never happen.
Remember the shocking "Grexit" vote for Greece to leave last year? did they leave?..errrm.

Agree, think there's a mood of it not happening...uk & eu are seeing who shoots first, but neither want to..or will. I envisage a 2nd referendum / general election with revised terms. People have seen the market volatility, businesses moving out and job loss threats, admissions of 350million or whatever not going where they thought and the realise that farage 's 'nazi propaganda ' as one mep put it yesterday was just that... refugees and other migration will continue so it's futile.

This man makes my blood boil. It depresses me at the level of support his party got at the last general election the outcome of which would have been even worse under proportional representation.
I do hope that the referendum result was a left wing predominantly labour protest vote against austerity as opposed to any growing right wing support for UKIP.

Afraid it's the Conservative right and middle England. Keep in mind 2/3 of Labour voters voted Remain, in spite of the medias bias.

you voted to leave, so please send that fucking letter to Brussel. Make UK great and white again, but leave us alone. You wouldn't break up with your girlfriend and tell her 5 month later. Leave now!
Best Regards EU
P.S: feel free to google "What is a EU leave letter?", before you sent it.

The UK's EU Referendum - 23rd June 2016., by Deleted on Jun 30, 2016 12:24:46 GMT 1, Bo Jo chickened out. Whoever is Tory leader will be the person who activates article 50. Whoever does that will be made to pay in the next general election and could be finished in politics. Johnson is a coward and an opportunist who pulle dout of the leadership election and who will put his name forward as an MP and Tory party leader at the next general election.
Just a money grabbing public school parasite not a genuine politician.

The UK's EU Referendum - 23rd June 2016., by Deleted on Jun 30, 2016 12:31:05 GMT 1, But if you put that ยฃ500k every week is being sent to families that don't contribute to the British economy ie. Is not being spent here in the uk it does look bad and is likely to raise an eyebrow of a leave voter. There are thousands of French working in the UK and London, many of whom commute or spend their earnings in France. EU migrants in the UK are not a problem regarding the economy.
Foreign car corps that produce cars in UK, move their profits out of the UK. Foreign companies like EDF which is French supply electricity and water. Even the Chinese are going to build a nuclear power station in the UK.
If EU nationals live and work in the UK and spend their earnings in the UK, it's a good thing.

He got in on our apathy. The turn out for Euro- elections is VERY poor. There were only 16m valid votes in the 2014 elections. So a sub 30% turn out. UKIP had more EU seats (24) than Labour (19) or the conservatives (20).
I guess we are all to blame

The UK's EU Referendum - 23rd June 2016., by Deleted on Jun 30, 2016 16:44:32 GMT 1, Show me some evidence that Corbyn had anything to do with that bus. To include him in the same sentence as Johnson and Farage is scandalous. You shoot off accusations without a second thought to their accuracy. I would go so far as to say that you spout so much rubbish that it devalues anything else you say, so I can't see the wood for the trees. I said the all had a big bus. Farage had one. Boris had one and Corbyn had one.
In fact all sides made a lot of money out of this campaign for their crony pals.

The UK's EU Referendum - 23rd June 2016., by Deleted on Jun 30, 2016 17:14:19 GMT 1, I just think that sometimes politics is a money making scam and Farage is a scammer. he has been an MEP for seventeen years. thats 17yrs very large salary for doing sweet fuck all.
Protesting against the EU and fronting UKIP. Well of course he would get followers a sin reality he had more chance of being elected an MEP on an anti EU stance than if he stood as Tory or pro EU candidate where he would probably have never won a seat.
Plus the other factor is politics panders to people with huge egos who crave attention and Farage fit that bill exactly while a the same time making money from it.

Thats because I wrote about Farage under the photo of the Leave bus, where I was showing the leave campaign to have lied and Farage not to be trusted regarding the NHS. Where Farage was supporting a privatised NHS.
I did say they all had a big bus and maybe I should have posted all of their buses with a disclaimer underneath my post for people who put two and two together and come up with five.
