Imho, I think mehdi has got a long way to go in terms of catching up with invader. Invaders fan base is huge in comparison but asteticly for me, mehdi wins hands down.
Not comparing the two artists. Just getting bored with the endless Invader price debate and would like to hear some more opinions on Mehdi's current body of work.

Whats those airplanes all about? I like the image and that it makes me think, but I struggle to see the point in my way to logic thinking pea brain.
What strikes me is that its an image that you probably can stare at year after year without getting tired of but instead falling deeper into.
But back to the red line, do anyone have some sort of presentation of the piece? Would be interesting to get some background of this one.
About the prices I think they are fair, taking into account how good the pieces are and that the prices doesn't seem to be tiered might even make them cheap. Much better than a start of ยฃ450 with a tiering up to ยฃ950 or more.

There seem to be a lot more new collectors of his work. I like the idea that the prints are fully bled with no borders, which help with framing options.
Love Siesta and Wandering Souls which were on canvass. Would be lovely as a prints.

My memories are related to Iran Iraq war and the airplane US shot down by 290 passengers
also lots of air crashes because of sanctions
also it is for me a symbol of the destiny, like the place and the time that you born in. you cant scape of your destiny (usually) when you are in it and its noving. if any crash happens, its out of your hands, like the earthquake and lots of other unpredictable things in our lives.
also beautifull! I love the tail of the airplane, but I have fear of it. Paradoxical feelings
