Paul Insect "It's only a Dream" Allouche Gallery, by thisisit on Apr 10, 2016 12:43:28 GMT 1, Okay, now that I managed to secure a set, Ill try give more information to you guys, to whats seems to be a release with lost of information held from the public. (for no reason in my opinion)
Let me start by saying that i have not been so desperate about a print i was not able to attend the release in quite bit. so was so scared.
The gallery opened at 12 today and not 11. and in my opinion 12 is the time it will open the following days also. (even though i don't have any official confirmation)
Yes the regular edition is still available.
I sent my best friends that live with me in London. ( I'm ill on holidays.) 
They arrived at 11 and the gallery was shut so they decided to return in an hour.
At 12 the gallery was opening and they arrived at 12:05.
There where 15 people waiting in total. (including my friends)
Judging from the matching numbers prints i got, there is a possibility both prints will be available tomorrow.
It is cash only - so don't waste your time,,, and there is only one person running the gallery so he didn't have free time to get brochures from the back for my friends that where there buying the prints for me...

A few of the other variant left but not many. Both regulars still available. And about 30 of the little originals. I would have picked something up for someone but it's cash only and I've cleaned out my daily limit buying a few of the little originals! Get down if you can - such a good show. Fun fact: the puppets from dismaland are 50k each! Gulp.

Was a great show but love going at 'off' times. Wife and I had the place to ourselves and walked around to each piece with Paul shooting the s**t and talking art and inspiration. Really a nice guy.
Interestingly, I've noticed the mbw talk and Paul said th print market (for him) is much stronger in the UK where people aren't buying the originals as much.
Edit - the 'ogs' were 200 quid and were simply abstract studies for the pieces. Not as nice as the prints and there must have been 50 of them at least.

A friend had a quick chat with PINS on the opening night and asked about the puppets, the story went he didn't (really) want to sell them so he just put a silly price (ยฃ50k) on them to scare people off.*

Far too shy to talk to the forum members there at 11, so my apologies, but delighted to get the print I wanted. From the 20 seconds I was in there it looks great. So once again thanks Happy Shopper
The 2 main editions are still available if anyone's thinking of heading into London tomorrow to see the show. I think the larger variant may still be available too, but I'm not 100%. I thought these would have sold out, but thanks to Happy Shopper and his post, went up there this morning. A bit of confusion over the opening time, so it was print and away, to return tomorrow for a look around. Far too shy to talk to the forum members there at 11, so my apologies, but delighted to get the print I wanted. From the 20 seconds I was in there it looks great. So once again thanks Happy Shopper |
