I guess unsigned had to go up, they had been standing still for nearly 6 months while signed went up at least 2-3 times.
This J&J does seem quite high, I really didn't think it would go much over ยฃ900, but then again with prints like Flag now going for around ยฃ550, an increase of about 25-30% in the last two or so months maybe it's not so stupid.
Grannies is now selling for around ยฃ650 (was ยฃ500 for quite a while) there's less J&J's they've been around longer, I paid ยฃ500 for mine back in July last year.

ยฃ610 was a very good price they were consistently going for around ยฃ750 the end of last year, there was a post christmas slump and a climb back up to ยฃ700-ยฃ750 in the spring.

Anything under ยฃ700 was a good price, you've got to remember that J&J was selling for ยฃ700 odd when Virgin Mary was going for around ยฃ450, now Virgin Mary is going for ยฃ550- ยฃ600.
All these unsigned price increases have happened in the last 2 to 3 weeks it seems, almost in a blink of an eye, it's quite mad but not unexpected IMO.

Iv found best way to use ebay, to buy anyway, is to select your price you wish to pay and dont bid anymore, if the item is shill bid and you pay the maximum then you will never know but you have paid what you were willing to pay. Be careful of no collection auctions and always pay via an insurable method, i.e credit card via paypal etc
Anyway slightly off subject so back to J&J i beileve this is the kind of price it should be fetching in comparison to other prints, its personally one of my favourites. Its similar to the Pricing of Reaper, the way the price seemed to stick as the market kept growing and only a matter of time before it catches up! still a little expensive though, but thats probably due to the framing

I love that these scamer guys are dumb enough to think Oh... he bid 620 on something and I will offer to take that price now even though the sale closed at over 1100; that doesn't stink of a scam.
I am not sure if it was a password phishing scheme from the start... I thought only the person running the sale could see all the bidders IDs, and that when it closed only the highest bidders ID was available to see by the public. I hope nobody sent this guy any money. Trade safe everyone!
