I have a feeling these will be back in stock (and maybe even stay in stock) after people's baskets start emptying

me too coach - that's the only print I liked enough to buy and KB's 2 prints have been the only ones with a reasonable price attached imo.

Banksy's Santas Ghetto Bethlehem, by dmandpenfold on Dec 11, 2007 12:19:01 GMT 1, When cryatal clear came up all i could see was a blank white canvas in the frame, which to me explained perfectly the title, now i can see a bunny it's more cryptic
Can't handles dont seem to be popping up, maybe the price makes them more likely to stay in peoples baskets

Banksy's Santas Ghetto Bethlehem, by chrisoffbeat on Dec 11, 2007 12:24:16 GMT 1, I think what we are seeing here is the second stage of the evolution of the flipping market
stage i) a few sly people learn to read the market to some extent and make a hefty profit
stage ii) lots of less sly people see a few people making a profit, think it's just a case of buying anything with a POW stamp, and try to do it themselves, no doubt egged on by press coverage of banksy/the ghetto and some of the daft BIN prices that appear on ebay
stage iii) ...involves lots of scorched fingers...

Banksy's Santas Ghetto Bethlehem, by spirit on Dec 11, 2007 12:25:15 GMT 1, I think the prices are taking the piss - what happened to the idea of making street art affordable? and who's buying at these prices?
Has anyone here actually bought an Aiko?

Still yet to be blown away.
11.30 – Insect?

Banksy's Santas Ghetto Bethlehem, by br1stol on Dec 11, 2007 12:28:55 GMT 1, The price is relative to how much you like the piece - if you like the image enough to justify the price, then buy it. It does seem true that many seem to be following the 'anything from POW will make a profit' frame of mind is in full effect as present... If you dont follow you own instincts on what you actually like, you could get burned, eh...?!!!!!!

what they said - I think this scene is setting itself up for a big fall. To be honest I'm surprised that the print houses are not excersing more caution in the interest of their long term business prospects but instead they seem to be trying to grab what they can while they can which is a very dangerous attitude imo...
