Read the front page of the shop... Banksy on the incoming list, which will be available over the internet!

Banksy's Santas Ghetto Bethlehem, by fartofthestate on Dec 11, 2007 17:02:34 GMT 1, FFS people take a look around! why jump on the band wagon and buy this overpriced rubbish!?? i know im speaking generally but think how much you could buy if you took your time, shopped around and waited for releases rather than joining the Hype! buy an Aiko and Bast - or a years supply of SOS prints with change!! - fair play to POW they certainly know how to drum up a crowd and get people buying by bulding suspense but if these were staggered accross different print houses and galleries at these prices would they be pounced on in 10 seconds! i doubt it! happy that i feel like im saving money though!! - im getting cynical in my 'young' age Edit : dont take the rubbish comment too specifically, i mean in general, considering price point, edition size, sellout time, and previous print prices from the artists...just doesnt add up to me - each to their own, just trying to bring some rational thinking
Well said.
It seems that people have more money than judgment or they wrongly thing they will get rich quick.
These prints are crazy prices, its a PRINT a frigging PRINT!!! Prints are cheap mass produced images that take no time at all to knock out. for 200-300-400-500-600 quid you could buy a nice original piece of art, a whole years worth of Souled Out Studios prints, or a Black Rat Press edition that is jaw dropping.
POW ARE TAKING THE PISS OUT OF YOU!

Banksy's Santas Ghetto Bethlehem, by slacker on Dec 11, 2007 17:05:18 GMT 1, Bast - Mickey (Glitter) Edition 30, signed by the artist Two colour screen print with hand finished spray paint, pen, paint and Gold Glitter. Bast spent many days customising all 100 of these prints in various ways, so please note that what you order won't be exactly the same as what's pictured here So is glitter an edition of 30 or 100? They just cut and paste the descrip of the main edition onto the end of the glitter description. Lazy.
3 editions of 30, 40 and 30 which add up to 100.

Gotta agree... when the Mau Mau prints are sat there at such a limited release and decent pricing, and these are going at such a wide release and indecent pricing... makes me wonder!

Banksy's Santas Ghetto Bethlehem, by buster on Dec 11, 2007 17:08:01 GMT 1, This is piss funny to watch, lots of blind buying followed by lots of regrets, still not seen any mention of any other Banksy prints being sold, other than the ones from the holy land, and lots of folk who wont have any money left whith which to buy a new banksy when it comes out..... you couldnt give a bast away 2 weeks ago... I like some of the stuff coming out, but not enough to buy.

Banksy's Santas Ghetto Bethlehem, by rusty1986 on Dec 11, 2007 17:09:43 GMT 1, i disagree...the mau maus are ok,quite nice but i really dont think 350 is entirely awful for a signed, glittered, hand sprayed and finished edition of 30...i mean banksy charges more for a larger edition print and yet everyone pays out the nose for them in a second...
personally i think i prefer the bast, best image so far and cant wait to get it!

Banksy's Santas Ghetto Bethlehem, by valeha on Dec 11, 2007 17:10:23 GMT 1, right - this is what people are talking about when they say it was mentioned on the site:
f you feel that moving the Ghetto to the Middle East discriminates against people who can't afford to fly then you're right, so sorry about that. However, we're making a brace of great new work available over the internet in the usual punch-up we laughingly call an on-line business.
Incoming this month: Aiko Banksy Bast Lucy Mac Kelsey Brooks Paul Insect Gee Vaucher Blu Eric The Dog 3D
but Faile wasn't mentioned so this has caused some confusion, so who knows.

Banksy's Santas Ghetto Bethlehem, by GB on Dec 11, 2007 17:11:19 GMT 1, it says clear as day that Banksy is being release on the pre shop page, listed with other artists.
also just for info the print link has been taken off the show page...... putting two and two together (not always advisable with POW) means both banksy prints have been sold.....
