Likewise. What a bargain. I watched that one until it dropped and couldn't believe it. Perhaps the ยฃ200 on POW is just too much at the moment, but what a print. Really folks, in the flesh it's reeet good. Apart from the message, powerful that it is, I love the colours. That green is such a cheeky vivid little number.
I know his prints don't have the visual impact of his street work (how can they?) but WWT and of course Monkey (or M as I like to call it) are jaw droppers in the flesh. If only I could afford to frame them right now.
Hard to spend on framing when there are so many great prints around at present. I'm really loving work by Beejoir, Mantis and Arofish. I especially love the Arofish photos of the kids from Aita al-Shaab throwing their paint bombs at the self declared 'great and the good'. Like Arofish says himself, the stencils weren't the most sophisticated but you can almost hear the kids having some fun which must have been a blessing to witness amidst such devastation. www.arofish.org.uk/arofish/album30.
And belated congrats to those 40 that managed to get Beejoir's latest. That really is special. IM humble O.

Think people have got an amazing respect for the street work! its just difficult to imagion that being done justice on a piece of 50 by 70 or whatever!??
I think id rather take my few hundred quid, have a weekend away and visit all the street pieces, me personally anyway!
Without the story of this image is slapped on the side of a warehouse about 70ft by 40ft in size the prints really dont say much IMO
Maybe proportion wise the prints should be huge also! Some large 100by150cm??? then maybe you could kind of get a feel of the scale when it dwarfs your other prints???

This will have to be one of the sacrifices I make, along with one or two others I'm sure! Great piece though, Blu's best so far by a country mile imo! I was a gnat's d!ck away from buying this!!! My 1st Blu will have to wait a while longer though.
