Have you seen Monkey in the flesh? It's a beautiful print! I agree Nulla is the least interesting of all though. CMYK to me is kinda predictable, it could have been made by another artist, while all his other prints (Rennes, Demos, Headquarters, WWT, Funeral, Gaza Strip, etc.) are very distinctive/personal. I'm gonna get called for this but given the chance I would grab Funeral over CMYK.

thanks hellfo for the record keeping. my best guess is this was a quick flip from POW closing sale a month earlier? doesn't look like "mad pricing" to me (someone got what long term will look like a great deal on a nice print).
when thinking about this work when it was originally released, it gave me insight into a possible meaning embedded in Ant Farm's earlier Cadillac Ranch (which i now reserve judgment on, and am curious to visit to see if it holds interest).
& there is also an "Il Nulla" print on ebay (closing in 29 hours, currently at 330uk). for me it is one of his weakest prints (although, as noted earlier, it has been collected by the V&A in London), but those prices with no more Blu prints on the primary market (and none coming is my best guess), will make a nice deal for someone.

Although judging by the picture, the condition of this Demos is questionable.
recent ebay sales of Blu--
WWT (unframed): sold for GBP 511 (~US$722), on jan. 13, 2018, with 5 active bidders
Headquarters (unframed): sold for GBP 389 (~US$549), on dec. 9, 2017 with only 2 active bidders
Demos (OG) (unframed): sold for GBP 355.00 (~US$501), on dec. 3, 2017 with no list of active bidders (so am guessing this was buy it now)
for me the upside is deals on some of Blu's work may still be found on ebay.
it took quite some time for all of Blu's prints to sell out on the primary market (which never made sense to me given how significant he is for post internet street art and how little work was available over the past decade, but i think it shows, in part, the value of working with galleries to promote sales -- which Blu chose to opt out of). i predict we may see more results like the above as folks who bought work to flip it do so (as with the POW funerals). over the longer term, though, as collectors seek to fill the giant Blu hole in their street art collections, these prices will be seen as the bargain that they are (given prices of parallel works by Blu's peers).

i do not think ebay tells the accurate value of art, particularly Blu (who is hard to search for given his name and also a niche market at this point), but appreciate the references (which show me the floor and that there is some ongoing interests). a lot of art (from these boards and across the entire art spectrum) would not sell well (or at all) on ebay.

sapi thanks for posting this info here as well as some pics of his work. I too think a lot of his work is excellent and have grown to appreciate it. It was not my cup of tea when I first started collecting so passed on quite a bit. Loving the shark!!
Now missed headquarters on the pow drop. Would have rocked on my wall for sure. I had a chance to grab the other one from them simply refreshing but don’t care for the image and didn’t want to buy it to flip or hoard so passed.

I agree, ebay is not the correct media to value artist, especially blu. But we don't have much more.
However, with "not a fast sale" I mean that the price is not a big bargain in the heads of the buyers. If you put a Rennes at 1000€,for example, I think that it will not last a day. But maybe I am wrong. Who knows, let's wait for a rennes, a demos or a cymk and let's see. (not at 15000€ of course  )

as you might have seen (we are all checking eBay for blu prints ...) there are 2 Il Nulla (UK and swiss) currently open for bids.
I have a concern that I wanted to share: one is signed left and numbered right with drystamp, the other the opposite (stil with drystamp with the numbering).
Do you know if Studio Cromie released them with those differences? They both seem legit, both have the drystamp and signature and the number 160 look very similar ...
Just to share if any one is participating in the bids: I have a copy of the print bought directly from Studio Cromie, and it has the numbering and drystamp on the left and the signature on the right.
