The most recent show in Berlin was fab. I like the Boss print as well - don't see the cliches there, but I accept others opinion

I think you'll find some of his prints do go for that figure. But your lack of interest in him means you are ignorant to that.
That other guy keeps banging on about the Philips auction because he's never been offered a Pejac original. Again, he's ignorant to the situation. I think it's a fair result. I expect the seller does too. Pejac just sold out his show where his larger canvases were eur40k minimum + tax. His art has a big following and maybe for some it's not about the money. Don't be annoyed you haven't been offered any. There are a few for sale on here.

Just comparing with almost everything else. Low edition sizes. Low production. And a bunch of big stunning prints.

Hi, can anyone help with a valuation of the standard H2O print please ? Prices all over the place, privately these are changing hands at ยฃ7-9k, however some galleries moving at ยฃ10-12k. On here expect around ยฃ7-7.5k, If you consign to gallery you may get a a little more, say ยฃ8-8.5k, also worth thinking about auction if you want to take a chance as his market is one of the few moving generally in the right direction, worst case is you'd net ยฃ6k but could easily see ยฃ10k hammer on a good day at Christie's. |
