Ah, sorry. I'm getting confused with the Serpentine gallery set with Damian Hirst. (The Napalm print, which is also smallish)
This is still nice though, I'd say the Banksy print would be worth £3000 at least... easy. Nice, old and rare... a good combo!

Banksy • Wrong War • Pax Britannica , by Poppy Sunshine on Jan 24, 2011 15:51:00 GMT 1, It's a bit sad that the sets of these which remain intact will have never really seen the light of day but that's pretty much the way things go with collectors who want to keep things in the best condition.
There are some fantastic images in the set and it makes a really interesting flick through.

Banksy • Wrong War • Pax Britannica , by craigf on Jan 24, 2011 16:34:04 GMT 1, Agreed, with so many artists it is unlikely even if the owners decide to display the prints that they will have more than one of them on the wall. I have the less desired 2003 version including Reid, Kennard and others that has a much smaller number of prints, would love to upgrade to this one day

Banksy • Wrong War • Pax Britannica , by Poppy Sunshine on Feb 18, 2011 10:19:56 GMT 1, It would be interesting to see what price people would put on the signed Banksy Wrong War itself rather than lumping it in with the whole box set.
I can't help feeling that although the whole set is a really interesting and well produced thing it sort of holds back the Banksy print and it rarely gets considered as a stand alone piece in its own right.
If it was a single print produced by POW people would be fighting over it and as a 2004 piece from a 100 edition it would have considerable value.

£2.5k-£3k based on the complete box set that sold for £3.5k recently. I recall a seller on eBay having two individual Wrong War's for sale simultaneously a year or two ago. One signed in pen, the other in pencil. Don't quote me on this but I think they sold for £3k each.

An Inkjet print made from a photo of a stencil... Not the biggest print either, 21cm. x 29.5cm.

Banksy • Wrong War • Pax Britannica , by craigf on Feb 19, 2011 10:14:48 GMT 1, I'll give a differing possibly more constructive perspective ;D
I have the other set of I think 8 prints that was released by the aquarium. It has signed prints by Jamie Reid, Peter Kennard and others so some big names. Obviously that's less prints, but without a banksy print the set is probably worth a couple of hundred quid rather than a few thousand. If I wasn't in the process of moving house / probably don't have anything that I'd like to swap that you'd like to own I'd be all over this so worst comes to worst hold on to it for a bit for me please ;D

Hope the house move goes well. It seems a lot of people are at it at the moment.
Feel free to run your list of swaps by me. I'm a sucker for nice things and am rubbish at sticking to the plan so you never know.

Banksy • Wrong War • Pax Britannica , by darren433 on Mar 17, 2011 12:40:55 GMT 1, This eBay listing...
cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=140521638350
...reminds me that I used to see a fair number of these Wrong War signs on eBay about 6-7 years ago, but I hardly ever see them listed (or even discussed) today.
I also see that some are pictured on pages 196-197 in Wall and Piece.
What's the story with these (both the reaper and chopper versions)?
Are some legit and some not?
If so, how can you tell the difference?
Has anyone ever tried to get one of these authenticated?

Banksy • Wrong War • Pax Britannica , by Lunch Special on Mar 17, 2011 13:47:33 GMT 1, Relisted due to nonpaying bidder? but there were two bids? so no second chance offer - offered or the first bidder rejected? was the second bid the seller?
I wouldnt spend more then £50 posted to the states. Authentication could be tricky no? The workers at POW may have to show the piece directly to the man for him to sort no? you couldnt tell by pics, and you'd need Deter to tell you what day and time it was created by the age of the spray paint and the direction the sprayer used
I mean, the seller states and I quote " there is no suggestion that Banksy did the spray work,in fact its 100% certain he didnt, but its his stencil, given for the march" IM SOLD ON IT!! Hold up! you know for a fact he didnt spray it but you know he gave HIS stencil for the march? makes a lot of sense to me as an artist, of course! silly me, as an artist i would much prefer to give out my hand-cut stencil to some friends to go spray happy all around town instead of me being able to take credit for the work I did...

Banksy • Wrong War • Pax Britannica , by darren433 on Mar 17, 2011 16:21:27 GMT 1, Thanks for the feedback thus far.
Just to clarify, I'm not interested in buying the one on eBay, just wondering if there are some tell-tale signs to help identify authentic Wrong War placards (preumably like those in Wall & Piece).
Also curious why these don't come up for sale more often given how many must have been distributed at the demonstration.
Any additional intel would be greatly appreciated.
