Pejac Artwork, VALUATION, by gd79 on Oct 24, 2017 16:07:48 GMT 1, Ridiculous price, but then again from someone trying to flog a pack of Invader stickers for 500 USD, not surprising. Hahaha, very true. With an ask like $9499, this seller is not actually looking to let this go, unless its for a ridiculous price
That's the point of eBay right? It's a free option on someone matching your wildest dreams price.

Pejac Artwork, VALUATION, by PS on Oct 24, 2017 16:26:59 GMT 1, All Seppuku are hand finished so not sure why you would pay that much of a premium for an AP, especially when nothing different from the standard edition. Doubt it will sell, just someone trying their luck.
Not saying it's worth the difference but the flowers are a different colour on the A/P edition 7

I think you've miscontrued what I asked, and putting words in my mouth. What you say is undeniable. I was referring to the poster previously who said:
'Rightly so, I think could easily have fetched more'

Just saying I think there are a few out there that would have been prepared to pay more. Not saying much more but prob up to 3,300 would gather interest. At the end of the day it went quick because 2,950 was a good (or fair price) so arguably could have been priced a bit higher.

I agree totally that it could have fetched more, or at least garnered attention at 3300gbp, but I think a lot of people at that price would have been trying to haggle it down a few hundred anyway. Truthfully I probably would have paid something like 3100-3200gbp for it. Pricing it at 2950gbp was pricing it to sell, and at a non-negotiable number. I messaged pfg very shortly after the original post, and it was already sold. If the seller got the print at retail (which I imagine they did), then pricing it at 2950gbp is a decent RIO, and allows for minimal hassle with the sale. Basically pay it, or move on lol. Overall I definitely agree with your comment arthoarder

that was an absolute bargain. maybe someone needed cash urgently...and the margin was still very decent for such a short time.
I know of at least two sc standard ed that sold for more than 3.400gbp within the last 14 days.

Me too. Some of the stuff he's done recently is incredible and to see the amount of Pejac's being sold, stored flat bla bla is a real shame. Scattercrow "never opened".

I am with you all though...I buy to put on my walls and keep for a long time...I think Pejac's work is amazing not just on the prints but especially on the street. Subtle images with strong messages (or messages that can be interpreted in many different ways... )

Pejac Artwork, VALUATION, by Wearology on Oct 25, 2017 0:25:39 GMT 1, I hear rumors all the time - but the only fact is that the overall consensus is that Pejac is consistently churning out solid work in and out of the studio. His prices are considered relatively low and he is focused on producing quality work in low editions. His latest show in Italy was creative and was all about the art and not the money. The Urban Art community is anticipating even bigger things from Pejac in the future.

Love rumors! Will we see a big show in 2018?
