I didnโt see it until after I paid. I would cancel but I literally saved money for one art purchase around that amount- and this is one Iโve wanted (I had a repro forever). But fuck that guy uuuuugh. Update: I guess it wasnโt the seller it was import charges, so fucked. I miss California.

Itโs really difficult. Theyโve got at least two levels of anti-bot technology in there:
- The first looks tracks user behaviour on the website in order to distinguish between human and bot, but unfortunately that can be defeated through using the website normally in advance of the release.
- The second is the CAPTCHA. That will generally pause the bots while someone solves it, but thatโs a quick process.
I think all the prints were sold in about 30 seconds this morning, with many on EBay straight afterwards. People also listed the older similar open edition print on EBay at the same time, hoping to confuse people which print it was.
In basic terms the bot fills in all the fields and moves onto the next page. Essentially mimicking what a person would do, but much quicker. The development of boys came out of the shoe industry, where people were wanting to buy limited edition shoes online.
