Following the pheonomenally successful 'Bobbie Rainbow', 'Pop Art Badges' and 'Dancing Over Pallant' editions for the Gallery, we have collaborated once again with Peter Blake to produce an exclusive 20 colour screen print of 'The Beatles 1962' to coincide with the upcoming Peter Blake: Pop Music exhibition, opening on June 23rd 2012.
'The Beatles 1962', is Blake’s memorable group portrait of the Fab Four, painted as if it was itself an album cover. Talking to the critic Mervyn Levy at the time, Blake rather quaintly said: ‘At the moment I’m working on a large conversation piece of the Liverpool song group, The Beatles. Each of these chaps is closely associated with the city and I hope the local fans will find in this picture a visual significance that will somehow match the mood of the music."

I was lucky to get the email at 2pm but I was stuck at the Hospital with the Mrs. I shot home at 6:15pm...& just made my order in time by the looks of things. I'd still have paid £300.

I'm with you on this one. I love the Beatles. Love Peter Blake. I just didn't like the image. Financially I might regret it, but there's more to life than money and it might as well be bought by someone that does love the image.
