In my opinion for the size and compared to the current cost of the small Art Car Boot print and the canvas print edition size it's an ok price. If I had 3.5k burning a hole in my pocket it's not a bad investment and a very nice image to boot. Far better than a lot of Blake's prints that demand a far higher price for far weaker images both visually and in quality and execution.

Anyway not long ago people were willing to pay stupid money for a print ed. 250 or so, of little kid with a unbrella in a technicolor rain.

Big fan of Blake. Tbh I think the pricing is about right. I own 'Hope' which was 1k at CCA and is an edition of 100. The thing for me is this, I know we all love canvases and low editions but with PB's paper prints they are usually so much more than a standard print...embossing, gold leaf, various glazes, glitter. I'm not saying this isn't a stunning piece just that I prefer his paper prints combined with a lower price but high quality even though the editions are usually a little higher.

Anyway £3500 for this probably will look reasonable in years to come.
