There was a small queue in front of me, all traders and none of us had a chance to see the piece, we were given the envelope when we handed over the cash.

Peter Blake 🏴 Pop Art • Print For Sale & Wanted, by mojo on Jun 10, 2014 23:11:48 GMT 1, I have a theory regarding the Peter Blake print - here go's ..... so being a very refined and gentle man he was very upset by last years fight to get the beautiful I love you print and was further upset by the majority of them then being flipped, so this year arranged the contract and then made an artwork of a cat and a dog so when they appeared all over eBay he could have his own private joke of it raining cats & dogs.
I understand from this forum that the contract didn't exactly go to plan and that despite this artwork being, in my opinion, quite typical of a Peter Blake print it's being slated. I would of thought for such a well known and highly regarded artist the signature alone would be valuable to a collector of Blakes work, obviously if it was purchased purely to flip then he's kind of achieved what he set out to!

He's doing a talk later in the month (25th I think) and his bus will be there too.

Sir Peter Blake 'Bobbie Rainbow' (2001), #1868/2000, lithoprint on tin, signed and numbered by artist in black ink, published for the Pallant House Gallery Appeal, 66cm x 44.5cm, excellent condition, slight dent (see third picture), hard to see except from some angles, rest of it is perfect, £215.00.
Paul Insect 'Star Eyes' (2008), #150/150, 6-colour screenprint, signed and numbered by artist, published by Pictures On Walls, 40cm x 55cm, mint condition, £315.00.
NB. Postage extra on both items!
