I'm not so fond of the reference to "The Beatles 1962" in the centre, but I do find the remainder of the image a very interesting and courageous stylistic deviation for Peter Blake — given especially the subject matter, considered almost sacred for some.
For me, this screenprint brings to mind the work of other artists, including Group Shot (2008) by Charming Baker:

I have always liked this print but missed out on getting it at its initial release price and only ever saw it available at the £500 price. For me £295 is a great price for a 20 colour screen print and I ain't in the least bit bothered by edition size. Also it will be my first Peter Blake print. I have a small painting by Rose Blake so now it's nice that I'll also have a print by her father.
I actually think it's great that it has a painterly look to it, I really like that. I saw an image online of the original painting and thought that looked great too. Much rather have this silkscreen print over some of the ink jet or giclee images I have seen. Besides which I'm a scouser who grew up listening to Beatles curtesy of my dad. However, I'm now living in Coventry so this print will also represent a link to my birth place.

I seem to remember reading somewhere that it is unfinished. Blake had an argument with them over something or rather. The white boxes were where they were meant to put their signatures.
So, against most peoples (better) judgement, I quite like this.
