The problem I have with art police approval (although I appreciate it is important, especially now I have kids) is that if the wall captain gives the green light to a piece, I then start to question whether I like the image as much as I originally did. It's always been the same for me. If my mum ever said 'I like that' (haircuts, clothes, women!), it would make me question whether I had made the right decision!
When I get raised eyebrows and eye rolling from my wife I know I've made the right choice!
