exactly! I know itโs a forum but why does every sales post have members giving their opinions on price, he/she will know what a sensible price is and if they want to ask more or less thatโs their prerogative and thatโs that.

I think if itโs done constructively itโs not an issue. Ultimately itโs a forum not eBay. It can benefit the buyer as well as potential sellers. A buyer could be completely out of the loop with the market and not understand why they arenโt getting any offers when they are trying to sell their print at ยฃ10k over market value. It also stops any potential buyers overpaying for a piece. In theory is should mean fairer prices for allโฆ.in reality it normally just results in hair pulling and name calling.

Itโs just the usual โthatโs a low price itโs easily worth x amountโ (an owner with a similar or same piece) or โthatโs too high this one sold yesterday at auction โฆโ (someone who is hoping to buy). Itโs just so transparent and thatโs why I say leave it alone as they will soon work out itโs true worth if they are truly motivated to sell. As it happens, for the piece you have flagged here - i) we've sold 2 in the past month, ii) we currently have 3 in stock and iii) we are looking to buy more (hence my message). We agreed a sale last night with a forum member to buy another one (off the back of our message on here), andso when that arrives we will then have 4 in stock.
So with respect it's not quite how you have suggested it.
If you do ever have any stock to sell that you think we may look to buy then do please let us know and I'd be more than happy to give you a price on it.
