I must admit im not that up on tracey emin's work so i would not say im into her, but
looked at the teapot and thought, 1000 ill have a look next week, maybe it will grow on me.

sold out, so im still not a tracey Emin collector, probably a good thing.

They're obviously releasing them in 'exclusive' batches. I wouldn't imagine these are going to be available forever though.

first thing i knew mine had arrived was when the missus phoned me to tell me the kids had opened a parcel and were playing with a teapot!!!

i bought mine late through a dodgy back door link and was not sure if i would ever get one. as you can see from my previous post i thought id missed it, must admit i have bought for the investment factor long term and not to sell before the post mark is dry on ebay.

I actually rather like it and considered poping a couple of tea bags in for a brew this morning. Its going on my shelves on permanent display, or until banksy brings a teapot out.

There were a couple of very small Emins for sale at the Grosvenor House Art & Antiques yesterday. I thought pretty expensive though at about £3.5k. Can't remember the name of the gallery, left the catalogue at work, although the gallery represented English/British artists only. Will try and remember to look up details tomorrow.
