I see the first two are sold out - anyone know what the max tier price was please?

Last time i checked the blue one was 12.500 iirc
The other one 6.5 or 7.5

First tier was 3,500 ( before discount)

All eyes will be on the “No Surrender” print coming up auction in a few days (Bonhams if I recall). Will be interesting to see the delta between the sale price and (i) recent eBay prices and (ii) most recent price of £12k on counter before it sold out.

It’s punchy, but the market for her stuff has gone a bit mad recently.

No Surrender / No Time for Love were larger format but editions of 75 and seem to have gone on eBay for c.£6.5k recently. Other prints have also picked up and shifted quickly. I suspect it’s to do with renewed interest with her three exhibitions (mainly at the RA) as well as her unfortunate health scare this year, where at least one article suggested that she would take a step back from producing work (although that remains to be seen). Also, Counter increased pricing across virtually all her works a few weeks ago, in many cases by over 50%.

That said, there is certainly an argument that Counter Editions itself is really driving the market with its pricing of her work (I wouldn’t use the term manipulating/price-fixing, but it certainly has some influence in values).

No they have nothing to do with the RA show.

Which, by the way, was astonishing - visited today and was absolutely blown away. "You Kept It Coming" my favourite.

Would have been nice if the coupon code they emailed me actually worked.

No Surrender sold for £10k at Bonhams today.

Kate Moss going for a touch over £7k today shows the same really. The market for her prints is going from strength to strength and the moment. Although that print has always been sought after by collectors, it’s an edition of 250 so not hugely rare. Any edition of hers under 100 will always be sought after (if not at the time of release, then later).

As posted by a member earlier I think the IMMA etchings are two very nice pieces at very "friendly" prices for us mere mortals that cannot splurge several k's :-) Have watched them for a couple of weeks now and they seem to be shifting quite quickly now.

Caution about the IMMA prints - I’ve posted on here recently about them being great value etc. Lo and behold now there are 4 of them listed on eBay at between £650 to £900. They’re worth buying from source for a collector who wants to get her work at a still (relatively) affordable price, but beware the flippers are also out there doing magic with these now.

Anything posted on here is going to be picked up and flipped. Lots of lurkers on here running bedroom art businesses -  they love this free info.

I don’t think we can deride flippers when every asset class has them because people don’t buy an asset hoping it will go down in value; and often the source is the worst proponent; see recent IPO market listings doubling pre market and galleries themselves sliding / trenching up print releases like this one. It’s hard to value and purchase when it’s opaque even from the source.

At least a distinct primary and secondary market has price discovery...blurring primary and secondary makes it that bit harder, IMO. I still don’t know what price these sold for.
