Harland then started offering some hand finished APs selling for 12-18k three-four years ago direct depending on the finish and how many were left (basically each one was a requested commission based on the APs/HsC versions he had). He then a few more slightly more detailed hand finished oneoffs he sold were around 18-20k each, may be more. I only know this as I've been lucky enough to buy a few originals and HF directly from Harland and via Alex at Reflex (great gallery by the way you want to source originals) over the past seven years. A HF normally takes Harland about 6 months to deliver and a commission is around 2 years and both are completely up to him whether he wants to do it. His latest HFs are 30k each (Happiness is an example) and original oils 60-85k. TIWIFA is still one of his most popular works (some would argue his most popular) and he stopped producing them a few years back. I don't believe he'll even do a version for commission anymore either. 40k sounds spot on for a HF, maybe a little more depending on the actual HF and maybe 30k for the standard.
