I'm intrigued by this and asked a few people, both here and galleries by and large people suggest the lack of unsigned makes even the signed ones more valuable.
I don't really understand this as say a older edition with say 50 signed and 250 unsigned (or whatever the breakdown was) you would think the signed ones are much rarer and therefore more valuable but it seems the converse is true..

All comes down to image popularity gwb is 32/94k for a reason.

I expect that there is a very finite amount of Banksy's prints (maybe 30 releases at up to 500 each so less than 15,000?). Of these 20-30% of the older ones will have not survived or be considerably less than mint as when they were released there was no value to them over and above being a print, there maybe in the future rapid growth in these older prints to match the growth over the last few years of the recent ones.
It must also be the case that as someone said on another recent thread the demographic of the buyers is changing, or simply those buyers who, like me, were in their 20's when first started buying them, are now in their 40's and older and have more disposable income to buy these items.
Disclousure: I dont own any Banksy's anymore, so I've no skin in the game either way. May try and buy a LIITA or IFTL though.
