Are they hyping him up ? And the auction houses are also interested in taking his prints . What's funny is when a Banksy prints sells at auction everyone takes that price as a guide line , but when a Stik prints sells it's all hype . I'm not comparing the two, but people on here need to stop being so condescending on Stik prices . They are going up and that's a fact , they may also start going down . I am just quoting prices that i know are true , but still the keyboard idiots try and put it down . With respect, all you ever seem to talk about on here is the value of Stik's work. I quite hope Stik makes it. I really didn't 'get' the whole stik man thing when i first came across him here.
He seems like a cool guy and seems to do things for good, and i have grown to like it, especially after seeing the bit he did next to the Butchers in Dulwich that was later stolen.
I do wonder if i like his little stik people because of how much it is worth though, and it's the greedy bastard bit of me taking over? ) Just to add, i own no stik,

Is there nothing else on this forum that interests you? i find the stik thing quite interesting. there have been quite a few artists over the last 10 years whose prices have blown all out of proportion, to then tumble back to reality. I guess this will always be and there has to be a bit of ramping and hyping because people are looking for the next cash cow, and that speculation is fun if you have spunky cash. I don't particularly like those discussions either, personally.
But people are of course free to have them. And missyparrot is free to talk only (almost) about Stiks value if she wishes.
My question was why there seems to be nothing else that interests missyparrot on this forum amongst the myriad of other discussions.
My question can be taken as constructive. If missyparrot was involved in other discussions I suspect that there would be less suggestions that she is hyping the value of Stiks when she did talk about their value.

Quite the opposite. I was suggesting that it would be nice if you commented on threads other than about the value of Stiks work. It might result in less of an impression that you are hyping Stiks prices.

If recent sales are anything to go by; if you are buying then it'll be a better price than you'll pay in 12 months time and if you are selling then chances are you'll look back in a year or so and wonder why you knocked it out so cheaply
