There was a Bacon-Soutine show in NYC several years back at Helly Nahmad and, honestly, it was Bacon who was the lesser. Soutine's handling of meat/flesh is utterly devastating.

His artworks sell for tens of millions his prints have to catch up, after all they are mostly hand signed and stamped and normally quite small editions.
I have been saying this for the last few years as i have noticed the rise in interest and prices...and they are such great images in the flesh..and yes i have a very large Seated Figure litho which is just superb!
