Prices bumped up to close to ยฃ300 - so every man and his dog then joined to Q/etc - as they felt it was an easy banker.
For me - I think the pink is a stronger print as I felt the 'red' red was not a great shade too use. Also, the pink is less common - due to no paste ups etc.
Still funny how it works!
Although, not happy about everything - the prints to big and will not fit in my A1 folder (before you say, its on the list for the framers!)

No court could compel TLSG to sell you something they haven't got. The best that you could get would be a refund which they already offered you. I appreciate this is disappointing but as anonymous plum says mistakes happen.

My friend also got the same call. Apparently 2 of their sales people were walking around selling the same work. Why are so many Preview nights so disorganised? Most of the time galleries are very quiet - as soon as a load of people walk in they crumble. As Roy Keane said "Fail to prepare, prepare to fail"

Best thing to do is to call, keep calm, state your disapointment and see if there are any AP's 
Or maybe they can make it up to you some other how. But agreed, over selling is not good. Best to keep at least 5% back to allow for mistakes.

as for the criticisms of tlsg, i must say that all dealings i have had with them have been first rate. the staff have been great to deal with. they put on some amazing shows, and this scene would be much poorer without them.
btw, i said i didnt want the print, so went in ealier than those still queing for it, seemed a good idea to me - why make me wait while people paid for their print. and no, i didnt then go and buy the print!!

They are always helpful, go out of their way to keep prices down and affordable, as was specifically the case with Beejoir, and have done a lot to promote the new wave of Urban artists that have come to the fore.
What is needed here is helpful suggestions to help the problem, not carte blanche to criticise a hard working and well run gallery. Almost a typical English response to a problem in look at laying blame rather than resolving this.
