I hope they give the heads up for the release over at SOS, as I'd like to grab one of these. It ties in with my own personal attitude toward "religion" in the conventional sense. The only image of his that I've really been into, just for the image's sake was LV Child. The pricing is a little disappointing, but I think it's "worth it". People are already spending a lot more than ยฃ250 for signed pieces of his on weebay. I fear however that the flippers will be all over this like a bad rash!!!

Letโs not forget, the pope recently updated the โold sinsโ list to be more in touch with todayโs society. The first thing added was โunnecessary wealthโ. This coming from the Vatican, the richest country in the world....please!

sticking my neck out - I've got to agree with you.
First time i saw it I did not like it AT ALL.
No i don't mind when people say - but it's great etc - i
have to be honest and say my gut feel was - this is
actually distasteful....in the same way as i was offended
by PE's car crash images.
I'm all for provocation in whatever form - but when a line - where-ever that lies is crossed the image loses it's potential
appeal and falls short i'm sure of it's underlying
objective - which i'd imagine is to make people think or
laugh - depending on who the artist is.
Alas it's an image - if people like it fine - go for it - alas i'm out on this one - I'm sure there's other ideas in this guys head which may resonate positive - we'll see (let's hope so..)

Making a statement of religious belief will ALWAYS be offending someone or other. I like the fact that Chris has the stomach to make a likeminded statement through his art. He runs the risk of alienating many "fans" (most religious minds can be pretty blinkered, hence their state of religion). However I do feel that in any discussion, debate it is important to remember to try and respect the other peoples' freedom to choose their own beliefs. When they die however, we can all laugh, point and sing "where's your heaven gone?"!!!

You speak as if nothing derogatory is pointed at Muslims. Lets see...How about tons of bombs dropped on their cities every day? how about collective punishment in Palestine?How about looting natural resources from beneath their feet? How about water-boarding, Guantanamo, Abu-ghraib.........?
