The fact that there's 400 LV's around compared to 77, LV is unsigned whereas AFD is signed, and the AFD is a less controversial easier to live with image. They'll be quite a few LVs coming up on ebay quite often, but that won't be the case with the AFDs.
the run numbers don't really interest me, scarcity is not the driving factor in the comparison, although it is easy to get distracted by.
IMO, Beejoir's work has, and will continue, to draw far more interest because it is of higher quality. With LV Child being his landmark piece, i see it rising consistently, and considerably, over the next several years.
The Mantis print is, again in my opinion, not very good and will be in dusty tubes under people's beds in 2 years....

I guess we'll have to wait and see, I didn't go for an LV Child because although I think it's a great piece of art, it's not one I can live with easily, as for money the serious LV money will be in the original very limited signed run IMO
But the future value isn't very important, both the LV Child (unsigned) and All Fall Down are both great images for different reasons and both were very affordable in the first instance, so if you like it you can't go wrong

I don't think LV Child is a political image. I also don't think that it is having a go at Louis Vuitton and large companies although that's what some people instantly may think.
It's having a go at society and people. That little boy has no clue what Louis Vuitton is. He is only interested in other fundamental things that we take for granted. It forces you to put your material ife into perspective. It makes you question why we are not content with things we have got. It basically cuts through all the bullshit and makes everyone's whinning and complaining seem like a joke.

Its now one of my fave prints and I guess also like the early Banksy days the price isn't important to me coz a) the most I can loose on its value is ยฃ30 and b) its not going to ever be sold!

This investment/value interest IMO only really kicks in when you're starting to spend towards ยฃ1000 or more, IMO that's BIG money and decisions and loses of that size can't be taken lightly
