Im selling it for a very good reason, im not overly concerned if it doesnt go, im not desperate to sell or anything and i still believe that it is a lovely piece of art, If someone wants it then great, if not then equally cool, i will hang on to it and either hang it when i finally sort my flat out next year and who knows, it might be worth 5 times more next year, but that was not my motivation to buy it. Basically my daughter is ill, i am not with her mum, i was going to move away and see her at weekends, everything was sorted, then she got sick, now i dont want to move till she is better so i have to keep my art in storage, i would rather offload some of it. that is the gist of it

We went through a family tradgedy this year as well and just wanted to close myself off from everyone and everything. Felt embarrased really like it was my fault.
Family and friends were a huge support base for us and tried to think as positively as possible given the circumstances.

it was a great acheivement to get so low without doing anything to get kicked off
I am selling it to fund a frank auerbach etching and i have also commissioned an ian francis original, but like i said, i dont really need to sell it, i just hate having stuff in storage when someone else could be enjoying it. I got the Ian Francis piece done because i believe it will be too expensive very soon to get any of his original work and i find his stuff breath takingly brilliant on j peg, so fuck knows how amazing they will look in person, but i dare say they will look fantastic. I will post pictures when it gets here
