Hand finished my arse. It was ruined in the print process and should have been binned - until some clever sod said "Nah don't throw it away, we'll call it hand finished and sell it for double!"
IMO this is the second lot of hand finished prints from Laz that have been a big disappointment. I thought the hand finishing on the Connor Harringtons were detrimental to the piece as well - not as bad as this tho'. Hopefully if everyone's hand finished 3d is as bad as these they will all get returned and then hopefully Laz will not be so inclined to take the piss next time.

I was critical of the hand-finish on the CH pieces too at the time but at least it could be seen in that case that the artist did put some thought into how the finish was applied and how much (my main criticism at the time was I thought he'd gone slightly OTT) but in this case - based on Ross's pic, the only one I've seen so far - I can't see any sign of conscious thought having gone into the finishing. I mean, it's not even on the image, it's around the perimeter - as dave313perry says it looks like it was just next to a pot of paint that got knocked over and I could do that to the standard one myself.

Not too impressed with the hand finishing to be honest. A few flicks and dabs of paint that only really show up on the white border. Surely hand finishing is meant to improve the image (like Miss Bugs, Bast etc)?
