Took it out of the tube, shook my head in disbelief and then immediately phoned Laz (who seemed resigned to giving a refund before I even asked for one - I only got to mentioning I'd just received a 3D print and I could hear the knowing sigh on the other end of the line).
Anyway, here it is. Utter rubbish, although they managed to actually get some of the extra paint on the printed area this time....
Most of the pencilled stuff is smudged too (signature and print title). 
Smudged title...
This was print no. 5/10.

This sorta shite is what makes me worry that this scene were all so obssesive about is starting to be solely driven by the ££££ signs. If this isnt pointless money making on Laz's part then i dont know what is. Kinda makes you feel like he's taking the piss....

The print was coiled up like an effing spring too... took me nearly ten minutes to get it under control so I could put some glasses on it to photograph it.
While I think of it, does anyone have an email address for Laz as I want to send them a photo of the smudged titling to prove (as far as I can I suppose), that it wasn't me that smudged it. The contact page on the website doesn't have a facility for adding pics. Cheers.

I agree these are lazy and add no artistic merit to the piece itself but it isn't Laz job to say something, he is just the gallery owner, his job is to sell the piece.

I agree to an extent, but then it is Laz's job to make sure people know what they are buying. Especially as we're talking slightly more then pocket money here. Would anyone have bought these if Laz had put example pics on his site? No chance.

received mine back from the framers yesterday, simple black box frame, simple 1 inch mount, but as the the image is SO dark, I think this particular print would definately benefit from non-reflective glass. I didn't get that, and basically you can't make much of the image out, no matter where I position it. Think I'll have to install a dedicated spotlight above the print to show it off properly.
