At first he didn't want people to put pics up of it if they found it.
I guess he's changed it up that's why he's put the pics up and hasn't hidden any of these for months

But on the opposite side of Tokyo, the moment it will be dropped, some homeless people will jump to it for resale so no chance for collectors and Art lovers.

Sad for Kidult, I always liked his modus operanti and that fighting spirit (the fact he hates brands playing the graffiti card, he is totally right to do so and I support him because these brands playing hype and graffiti/street art card are actually the first one to press charges against people like Princess Hijab, Moustache Man, PosterBoy, etc.) and they all have the best spot because they have the money. Many think that Kidult is an entertainer and paid by the brands themselves, I don't think so ! The guy has balls.
But then greedy people have balls, getting all the free t-shirts and free stuff before I can even press "Buy" ! And some have even here, reading this thread, thinking about the nice t-shirt they got free, still nicely packed in a smoking free environment, wondering if their grand children will profit financially from it.

Sadly, I stopped following the extinguisher story after I hear Kidult placed one in Paris in front of FIAC and people were asked to show stuff on their smartphone, really ?? A smartphone ??
It looked to me as if Kidult is targeting the right people at the right place and has an hidden agenda (getting hyped and climb the arty ladder)... Kidult is loosing credibility, I liked the way he used to target brands and his anti-conformist/rebel graffitis but sorry the latest is bling-bling dust for our eyes, illusion and show-off. I said to Kidult that he better put his extinguisher in southern hemisphere, somewhere when nobody stepped in, where there is no money to make, no greedy people, no flippers... where his sculpture will be use as hanger or table or Xmas tree

A little while later the other guy asked my mate what he was looking for, and my mate said "same thing you're looking for" then went back looking for it.
A couple of minuets later he called my friend over and asked him a bunch of questions, "are you a fan of the artist?, are you a collector?" My friend then asked 'are you him?' Which he replied "no, but he's watching you"
The other guy then pointed over my friends shoulder and said " Is that what you're looking for." (Pointing to a shutter above a door) There it was!
My mate then jumped up and got it. Whist the other guy took his photo (can be seen on kidults instagram)
My mate then hailed a cab. He was about to get in one when another guy walked up to him and said "thanks, but please don't sell it" My friend said "no thank you" to which he replied by nodding his head.

I think at the start kidult wasn't targeting certain people and was just leaving them for true fans. But after the LA one was sold on eBay his mindset changed and he had to rethink how to get them in fans hands and not resellers.
