All USPS international shipments are technically trackable. Even First Class which is the cheapest option offers basic tracking. Definitely not as detailed as FedEx, but it is available.

I appreciate a simple pencil signature. I'd be cool with a signature en verso actually. This is one of the things that is causing some hesitancy about picking up the modern art neon print.
I think that this image is really fun though, I love the colors and the font, however, for me there's something about the word Charming that doesn't resonate. I know that some cultures use the word in a real endearing way and that's awesome, to me though, it has an air of fluffiness or insincerety when I think of describing a person or thing as charming.
I've never met an awesome person, or seen an awesome piece of art, or watch, or car, or natural scene of beauty and thought ...oh, Charming. Maybe that's playing into the non instant sellout of this edition?

The last piece that came from elephant and castles cost me rather a lot in tax when I had to go and pick up from the post office. I definitely learnt a lesson that day.

I recently saw his Home Sweet Home piece, which I thought interesting, as it was an interesting play on the embroidered samplers of said sentiment long displayed in the average yokel's home.
By and large I find his choice of words uninspiring, and that would seem to be an issue in a word painting.

My thoughts are that he started with a great idea of taking something largely taken for granted (typeface) and turning it inside out - as witnessed by his early alphabet pieces, particularly when leaving out the "W" - very witty. One of these pieces is usually what I see when Eine is included in notable group shows, for example the Robt.Williams' curated LA show had an Eine alphabet piece. These are his iconic works (IMHO). The difficulty is in how to take the font idea past the alphabet, into words, phrases, sayings. That is where I see the struggle. "King" of prints with type but nowhere near being a king of typography. His typography/design skills are extremely poor/nonexistent.

Kudos to whoever took care of that. Needless to say, it's just awesome in person. The background pattern is way more subtle than the online images let on, which was actually a pleasant surprise for me. The colors are just brilliant. This is my 5th Eine print and it just might be my favorite (black glitter "Amazement" a very close 2nd). I'll post pics tomorrow in natural light.
